Las Vegas Zone Control Systems
Zone control systems allow homeowners to manage the temperature in each specific room of their home. You might like to keep the living room warmer than your room for example, or you don’t want to cool a guest bedroom that isn’t in use. Zone control systems let you manage the airflow of each room through an individual thermostat.
This will not only boost the comfort of the home, but it will also help minimize heating and cooling costs. Instead of cooling your entire house to the same temperature, you can focus the airflow into the areas that need it most.
Zone Control System Repairs in Las Vegas
Zone Control Systems do occasionally break down, and we’re here to help. The good thing about these systems is that they don’t always break down throughout the whole house. If just one thermostat needs to be replaced or repaired, the rest of the house will continue to work. But even though zone control systems breaking down are not as bad as HVAC systems breaking down, we still understand how important they are. That’s why we come to your home the same day you call us, so we can get your systems back up and running as soon as possible.
How Do Zone Control Systems Work?
Basically this is how they work: A thermostat is added to each room or “zone” that needs to have its own temperature. Then dampers are installed inside the ducts.
When a thermostat is told to raise the temperature, it closes the duct’s damper so that air can’t get through. If the A/C was on, then the cold air wouldn’t make the room any colder. If you’d want to make the room colder, then the thermostat would open the damper inside the duct which would let all the cold air get through.
Saving Money in Las Vegas with Zone Control Systems
The U.S. Department of Energy estimates that zone control systems can save homeowners up to 30 percent of a typical cooling and heating bill. If you installed one of these systems today, you would save a lot of money over the coming years.
